Work Shadowing Programme

As you ponder over which career you wish to pursue in future and whether or not your desired career suits you, why not experience it first-hand via the college’s Work Shadowing Programme?

Held during the November and December school holidays, all JC1 students will have the opportunity to sign up for a work attachment of your choice from a list of local companies/ organisations provided. During your work attachment, you will have the chance to observe others at work and carry out simple tasks or projects under the guidance of a mentor. The work shadowing period is typically between 5 and 7 days, with some lasting up to 2 weeks.

Through this programme, you will be able acquire important life skills such as teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills which will prepare you for the 21st century workforce. In addition, you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of your interests and suitability for the job, thus allowing you to make more informed decisions about your career choices.
